Alpiq Denmark is an energy broker and neither delivers or produces energy. On the other hand this is offered by other Alpiq departments throughout Europe and together we at Alpiq are able to offer a good mix of energy products, which include a high degree of environmentally friendly alternatives such as wind and hydroelectric power.

The Alpiq Group owns and operates different energy producing plants. In some countries, including Switzerland, Alpiq is partly responsible for the actual operation and maintenance of the electricity grid, so that customers’ electricity supplies are always safeguarded. Though Alpiq Denmark does not produce or deliver electricity but solely conducts a brokerage function.
